Issue: Images, videos, or other content isn't loading properly or you notice something that needs to be fixed. We’re still building Towns and making it better everyday - let us know what issues you encounter by doing the following:

Click the Ladybug Icon next to your Profile Picture and submit a Bug Report to the Towns team.
A: Click into your Profile picture and select “Preferences” to choose when you receive notifications.
A: Yes, Towns is permissionless by design, meaning anyone can create multiple towns. Click the “+” next to the Towns you’re a member of, and create a new one!
A: Anyone can ‘Block’ a member by clicking into their profile and selecting “Block”. Blocking a user means they won’t be able to create new DMs with you and you won’t receive notifs for their messages in existing groups and channels.
We recommend reaching out to your Towns admin to ban a user from your Town based on behavior. Admins can click into user profiles and enforce a user ban from their Town. We recommend contacting your Town admin to discuss inappropriate behavior or content.
A: Click on the Settings icon next to the Town Profile Picture and scroll to the bottom. Select “Leave”.
A: Absolutely. Everything you send in Towns is end-to-end encrypted. To learn more about the protocol Towns runs on and decentralization, read up on the River Protocol.
